If he tries to stop the addiction, he feels irritated and restless. He gambles to forget the past guilt, depression or anxiety. He returns back again to recoup the losses in the previous days. He tells lie to other people that he is even gambling. He does the illegal acts so as to finance gambling. He looses the educational opportunities, relationships and career because of gambling. He relies on other people for help.

There are certain types of personalities who are prone easily to the addiction of gambling. Some are restless, highly competitive and energetic. The people who are extroverts and love the thrill have the higher chances of developing the addiction for gambling. The addicts want action, arousal and euphoria. Positive measures with dedication will help the individuals to come out.
